Natural remedies can heal all the motives that are responsible for cutting blood supply to the affected region causing dry gangrene. Similar amount of horsetail tincture can be inserted in a bucket of warm water for washing and cleaning the region. Arnica lotion or calendula is also a beneficial remedy for treating dry gangrene, these creams can be applied on the affected area unless there are no cracks or open sores on the skin, these creams hasten the healing procedure. Bark of the pine tree may also be used for washing and for implementing moist compresses to cure the affected region. Cream created by cayenne pepper can also be helpful in curing the area numbed because of dry gangrene.

A very effective natural remedy can be ready for bandaging the affected region for fast recovery, take one-fourth pound of powdered charcoal and then combine it with a single ounce of smartweed, pour one pint of boiling water over this mixture and steep it for 20 minutes, then later add more charcoal until it forms a paste. Spread this paste over a cloth and tie it on the affected area. Valerian, buckthorn bark, yellow dock and skull cap may be mixed in equal amounts, take half and one teaspoon of the mixture and combine it in a third-fourth glass of boiling water and simmer it for few minutes, consume this an hour before each meal and one cup before going to bed. Some people may suffer from constipation because of this remedy; herbal antidepressants may be taken to clear bowel motions. Extract of Echinacea herb about 20 drops three times per day and regularly for a month also helps in treating dry gangrene. Twenty five drops of gingko extract regular is also an effective natural remedy for dry gangrene.

If the affected region is bleeding and there’s a pus formation then wash this component with hydrogen peroxide at least three times a day for clearing infection. Supplements can be obtained for ample supply of vitamin A, C and E to the body although these vitamins are available through regular diet also but to heal dry gangrene quickly taking these in supplement form is more useful. Increased intake of fruits and green leafy veggies and sufficient amount of water is also useful in treating dry gangrene.
