Treatments

      • Aromatherapy can be handy to sooth and aid with recovery: Bergamot, lavender, neroli, chamomile, melissa, eucalyptus, juniper and/or geranium.
      • You will want to modify your diet to a natural, wholefoods diet and prevent allergy-causing foods such as, wheat, dairy (like yogart), and sugar. Along with this prevent excessive consumption of fruit, particularly citrus and sour, as these can make the symptoms worse. Flower Essences to use are Rescue Remedy, for anxiety and Rescue Remedy Cream on the affected skin areas.
      • Herbs that will help are cleavers, yellowdock, nettle, or crimson clover tea or tinctures. It is also possible to combine them with relaxing herbs such as linden blossoms, skullcap or chamomile. One combination to try is equivalent parts of nettle, chamomile and cleavers – drink 3 times every day. For a stronger mixture employs the tinctures of burdock, cleavers and figwort in equal parts and take just 1 teaspoon of the mixture 3 times per day.
      • To help with the itching soak the affected areas with warm or cold chickweed extract. For dry, cracked skin, use a salve that’s created from St. Johns Wort leaves and calendula flowers. Goldenseal used externally can also be valuable.
      • Homeopathy use: Dulcamara, Sulfur, Thus tox., and Graphites, it is possible to take them alone or in conjunction with one another and this will accelerate the recovery.
      • These subsequent juice combinations will also assist with the healing process: black currant and red berries; beet, cucumber, spinach, carrot, parsley; and wheat grass juice.
      • The supplements to use are: Vitamin A and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an omega-6 essential fatty acid that’s found in large levels in evening primrose oil – both have been proven to facilitate and improve the symptoms caused by eczema. Other helpful supplements are vitamin B complex, E, B6, magnesium and zinc. You could even use the evening primrose oil right to cracked and sore regions of the skin. And still another choice is to create a paste out of licorice root extract and ginkgo, applied directly to the affected regions.
